We are super excited to announce that Abbey House Museum has been shortlisted for the national Kids in Museums family Friendly Award in the Best Small Museum category. Thanks to our local communities for the nomination! Judging will take place by undercover families over the summer holidays and the winner will be announced in October. Abbey House Museum is a playful, inclusive museum full of family fun – pretend to be a shopkeeper in the Victorian street, remember all your children’s stories in the 2025 temporary exhibition Storytime, and play with toys old and new in the childhood galleries. Abbey House Museum also has the best Changing Places loo in Leeds!
