No yoga experience is required. You will book and pay for all the sessions together.
This 5 week course is about providing a space for you to turn up as you are and enjoy some yoga based movement, breathing practices and relaxation as well as practical tips, focusing on regulation, grounding and resetting.
There are no expectations, there is no judgement. A space for you to come and be you and take some time for your self-care.
The aim of this is for you to have an opportunity for self care but also as a social opportunity to meet other parents who ‘get it’ (if you want to! No pressure!) We have booked the room for 2 hours to allow flexibility and to relax the session and so that if you want to, you can stay for refreshments afterwards.
Your children are invited to join us on the last session (28th July) so you can create bonding time together; the enjoyment of learning together and spending time in each other’s company. The last session will be split into two sessions for space reasons. We’ll organise this closer to that date.
Mobility, pregnancy or other health issues can be catered for – please provide these in the registration form which will be sent to you on booking, so Debs can review and speak with your beforehand if necessary.
Accessibility
- We have a ramp at the entrance
- Disabled toilet. No Changing Place. The nearest Changing Place is Holt Park Leisure Centre.
- Car park on site that has a few disabled spaces, and there is lots of road parking too.
- We will be using the Silk Mill entrance. There is a buzzer on the outside.
