Ohana provides relief for families who have children with a disability or special educational need. Ohana strives to provide and or advise where they can find inclusive support activities, which help develop communication and social skills. Offer opportunities to volunteer, refer or advise on where to go for respite care. Increased awareness and understanding of the support needs of people with disabilities and/or special educational needs.

HOPELINE247 advisers want to work with you to understand why thoughts of suicide might be present. They also want to provide you with a safe space to talk through anything happening in your life that could be impacting on your or anyone else’s ability to stay safe. For children and young people under the age of 35 who are experiencing thoughts of suicide For anyone concerned that a young person could be thinking about suicide Young people Our advisers are all trained to help you focus on staying safe from suicide. Their training enables them to provide advice and support that may help you to move forward and stay alive. Concerned others If you are concerned that a young person is feeling suicidal, advisers can support you to start a conversation about suicide and explore options of how best to support them. ABC Leeds is a voluntary support group for families who have children or young people with or without a diagnosis of autism/Asperger syndrome. We offer advice and support on any issues concerning or surrounding autism and do this via monthly drop in at Leeds Central Library, monthly evening meetings, Facebook, twitter, email or the telephone and a monthly information sheet that advertises not only what we do as a group but whatever is happening in and around autism in Leeds.
