The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury and neurodisability. We deliver rehabilitation, education and community services through skilled teams who work with children and young people aged 0-18, and their families. The Children’s Trust Brain Injury Community Service provides specialist goal-orientated neurorehabilitation delivered in the child’s environment, either at home, in school, or a combination of both settings. Interplay Theatre tours annually to arts venues and SEN schools with sensory theatre work specifically designed for young people with complex needs. With a strong aesthetic and touching narratives, our performances give young people with PMLD the chance to experience high quality theatre in school, like other young people their age. From our theatre building in Armley, we run our community programme, LS12 Creative and we offer open days, performances, projects and sessions for young people with Additional Needs.

NLY Community Sport is a not-for-profit organisation based in Yorkshire, which was established in September 2017 by James Grayson and Connor Rollinson. We provide sports coaching to adults and children with disabilities and learning difficulties from all walks of life. Currently we have over 60 participants across our sessions. The organisation is built on solid values. We believe in the power of sport to inspire people, irrespective of their social or economic background. We aim to increase our participants’ confidence and social skills, and help them build new friendships/relationships. We also aim to combat social isolation and loneliness, as well as enabling our participants to develop their physical and communication skills. We also want our participants to enjoy sporting achievement. We currently run five Disability Football teams across Yorkshire – Pontefract Pirates (Adult and Juniors) South Yorkshire Superheroes (Juniors) Nostell Miners Welfare DFC (Adults) Selby Disability Football Club (Adults)
