These three-hour workshops will give you the opportunity to find out about causes of challenging behaviour and learn some strategies for coping.
We often hear about how difficult it is for parents to get support and advice around the issue of behaviour in children with special needs and disabilities. We have arranged six workshops in the Bradford area taking place during the first three months of 2020.
These workshops are single sessions, i.e. they are all the same so parents only need to attend one of them. The key areas covered will be:
- What is Positive Behaviour Support?
- Types of challenging behaviour.
- Strategies to manage behaviours that challenge.
There will also be the opportunity to have a say in how behaviour support services should work in the Bradford area.
Each session will start at 10 am and will finish at 1 pm. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children at the sessions.
