Geeks Room CiC provide an alternative environment to the traditional school, where children are able to learn through gaming (GamEducation) and practical based lessons. All the lessons are conducted by mentors, each lesson is tailored to the needs of the individual child and in line with the school curriculum. We cater for children 8-18, for all abilities and capabilities and we especially want to support children with special needs. The aim is to be inclusive to all at the centre and provide an interactive and fun approach to learning while in a safe environment and having the freedom to socialise with all.

We offer information, advice and signposting, as well as emotional support. We can offer emotional support either on a one-to-one basis, or through our monthly support groups. We can also help with applying for benefits, form filling, advocacy, and supporting families through other processes such as EHCPs or Early Help Plans. We can take referrals from professionals but people are also welcome to self-refer for our service.
