Delivered by specialists from a range of clinical backgrounds, we work with the child and their family in a non-intensive, consultative way focusing on the needs which result from an acquired brain injury. We champion children and young people’s right to have a say in decisions that affect their lives. We run a range of youth voice programmes and projects to enable children and young people to develop campaigns, participate in city wide ballots and youth voice summit and share their views and priorities with decision makers. We provide advice, guidance and training to staff to develop their skills and confidence in facilitating children, young people and parents/ carers involvement in decisions making processes. We work with different teams and services to ensure young people and parents/cares are actively involved in recruitment and selection of senior staff, commissioning services and developing city wide consultations.
