Later this month, the Policy and Campaigns team will be running on-line workshops for parents/carers and young people with a vision impairment.
Guide Dogs is leading on the creation of a CYP support pathway for professionals and we want to capture families’ views about what information they need to know as they navigate each stage of the pathway. We will feed this into the plan and make sure healthcare, social care and education professionals understand how to deliver informative, person-centred care.
The online workshops are taking place on:
- Thursday 27 July 2-3pm: for parents and carers
- Tuesday 1 August 6-7pm: for parents and carers
- Thursday 3 August 6-7pm: for young people aged 10-18 years.
