Join Communication Matters for a special evening of celebration at the AAC Awards 2023. Hosted at the University of Leeds on the 24th of March 2023 the awards ceremony will include a drinks reception, dinner, as well as the announcement of the winners of the ten award categories. Entertainment will include a set from Communication Matters Patron, Lost Voice Guy, and a live DJ. Tickets for the awards ceremony are available to purchase online. Made With Music are doing a mini-gig at Brudenell Social Club on Sunday 5th February, and there are 3 amazing acts lined up for you! The doors will open at 12pm and the first act will be 12.30pm. The acts will finish at 2.30pm and there will be time for mingling before finishing at 3pm. 21Co. will also be there with a cake stand! AWARE will be holding a World Autism Acceptance Event (WAAD) at Bradford City AFC on Thursday 30 March (10am – 2pm). The day is a drop-in event (tickets required) for families with autistic children or young people (no diagnosis needed). Starting from March Sunshine and Smiles – Leeds Down Syndrome Network will be holding a monthly get together at 21 Co. for parents and carers of children and adults with Down Syndrome (term time only).
