Yusra Jinaan Foundation

The Yusra Jinaan Foundation was established in 2022, in memory of our co-founders’ daughter, who was born with a rare genetic condition called Joubert’s Syndrome and passed away in March 2022. The Foundation is a testament to her memory, aiming to benefit children like Yusra, their carers, and their communities. ‘Yusra’ means ‘ease’ in Arabic, and the Foundation’s primary mission is to bring ease to the lives of children with disabilities and their families; particularly those with profound and complex learning disabilities (PMLD). While open to all families, we take particular care to include the perspectives and needs of those often underrepresented in mainstream services.
