Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service offers high quality, person centred, radical and innovative services to people experiencing mental health crisis. We are open when many other services are closed. We provide free, confidential, non-judgemental, non-directive, empathic and respectful support.We have services for adults and young people in Leeds, and West Yorkshire. SERVICES AVAILABLE IN LEEDS, WF3, WF10, BD4, & BD11: FOR YOUNG PEOPLE: Teen Connect Helpline Teen Connect is a helpline for 11-18 year-olds, up until their 19th birthday. We can offer up to an hour of support either by phone, text or online chat. Offering emotional support and someone to talk to. No referral process or threshold for support – if you want to talk we are here for you. We can also support parents/carers on Teen Connect. Since 2009, Purple Patch Arts has existed to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities and autistic people by providing innovative, inclusive, creative learning experiences for them and the professionals who support them.Our Lifelong Learning Programmes are for adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults. Our specialist staff use creative methods such as art, drama, music, movement and multi-sensory activity to make learning fun and accessible, exploring a wide range of different topics based on a yearly theme. We explore a wide range of different topics that engage and challenge, while working with participants to develop their confidence, independence, communication and social skills, and improve their mental and physical wellbeing. Through our Projects and Partnerships work, we regularly work with day services, supported living providers, libraries, Universities, schools and other organisations to deliver short term, funded projects that meet specific outcomes.
