Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service offers high quality, person centred, radical and innovative services to people experiencing mental health crisis. We are open when many other services are closed. We provide free, confidential, non-judgemental, non-directive, empathic and respectful support.We have services for adults and young people in Leeds, and West Yorkshire.

FOR YOUNG PEOPLE:

Teen Connect Helpline Teen Connect is a helpline for 11-18 year-olds, up until their 19th birthday. We can offer up to an hour of support either by phone, text or online chat. Offering emotional support and someone to talk to. No referral process or threshold for support – if you want to talk we are here for you. We can also support parents/carers on Teen Connect. Open 3.30pm-2am Monday to Friday, 6pm – 2am Saturday and Sunday – call 0808 800 1212 and ask for Teen Connect

Safe Zone offers face-to-face in-person support for young people aged 11-17 across 3 locations in Leeds. Providing emotional support and mental health crisis support in a place of sanctuary. We can fund taxis to and from support once booked in for support – call 07593 529367 from 5pm on the evening of need to request a visit.

FOR ADULTS:

Connect Helpline open 6pm-2am every night of the year for ages 19+ for support over the phone or online through our website. The service provides emotional support and information for people in distress. People can ring who are in crisis, anxious, depressed or lonely. They will be offered non-judgemental and empathic support and information about other services, if requested. Connect supports people in crisis, as well as providing a preventative service, by supporting people before they reach crisis point. Call 0808 800 1212 to request support on the night of need.

Dial House offers face-to-face in-person support in a place of sanctuary, open 6pm–2am every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Visitors can access Dial House when they are in crisis, relax in a homely environment and have one-to-one support. For ages 16+, please call 0113 2609328 by 6pm to request a visit on the evening of need.

Dial House @ Touchstone offers face-to-face in-person support. The service is held in a place of sanctuary, providing emotional support and information to people from culturally diverse communities in acute mental health crisis. All staff are from culturally diverse communities. Dial House @Touchstone is for anyone from a culturally diverse community, including refugees and asylum seekers. Open Tuesday and Thursday nights, and Monday nights for social night. For ages 16+, call 0113 249 4675 from 6pm on the evening of need.

SUPPORT IN WEST YORKSHIRE:

Night OWLS Helpline is a confidential support line for children, young people, their parents and carers who live in Bradford, Leeds, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.  Night OWLS is open every night from 8pm – 8am offering emotional and mental health crisis support by text, online through our website, or over the phone. http://www.wynightowls.org.uk, call 0800 1488 244 and ask to speak to Night OWLS
