As SNAPS continues to expand we are excited to be looking for 2 new people to join our team – an Administrator and Communications Manager.  Both positions are home based and 5 hours a week at flexible times so that the right candidates can work the role around their lives.  We are looking for two enthusiastic, organised and committed individuals to make the charity more efficient and increase our brand awareness and in return, SNAPS offers a flexible, supportive and fun working environment in a charity that is changing the lives of families who have a child with additional needs.

Administrator

We are looking for someone who loves to get things done!  We need an individual who can support the SNAPS staff team with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure they can carry out their roles more effectively.

The successful candidate will manage initial enquiries to SNAPS before signposting them on to the correct staff member as necessary.  They will be responsible for creating and updating SNAPS spreadsheets and word documents to ensure all the charity’s information is current and correct.

This role will also manage the planning of SNAPS’ holiday activities from researching venues, managing the ticket booking system to managing enquiries from families.  This role will involve working with the SNAPS families and therefore the person will need to be sensitive to their needs and able to handle confidential information.

Communications Manager

We are looking for someone who know how to tell a great story.  SNAPS has a wonderful story to tell, but we need the right person to deliver our message to our current families and supporters and to reach new audiences.

The successful candidate will manage all SNAPS communications from email newsletters to updating the website and managing our social media content and campaigns.  They will develop SNAPS marketing materials and work closely with local press.

The right person will be organised, have experience of using a variety of communications platforms and have an ability to make engaging content.  This is a fantastic opportunity to drive SNAPS to the next level and try some innovative techniques to grow our reach.   For more information please see the Job Description.
