We provide universal, targeted and specialist community health services for children and young people in Leeds aged 0-19. Detailed information on each of our services can be found on our website.

Aireborough Supported Activities Scheme (ASAS) runs holiday play schemes for children 5-18 years with moderate to severe learning and/or physical disabilities including Easter & Summer play schemes and a Christmas Activity day, these are based at Green Meadows School, Guiseley for children in the following postcodes:- LS5, 16, 18, 19, 20 & 21. We also provide residential short breaks at weekends to outdoor pursuits centres for children Leeds city wide, aged 8 – 18 years and who don’t already receive overnight short breaks/respite care.

Afrikindness, established as a registered charity in 2023, is committed to advancing the education and social development of racially marginalized and socially excluded children and young people, empowering them to reach their full potential and thrive in society. Our key objectives are as follows: 1) Advancing Education: We equip parents and teachers with resources and support, promoting academic success and lifelong learning, so every child, regardless of race, has the tools they need to excel. 2) Social and Character Development: Through specialised programs and resources, we build resilience, empathy, and social skills, fostering strong, positive identities in young people. Knowing fully that the key stakeholders in a child’s development are parents and schools, we collaborate with both to support the well-being of young people. 3) Promoting Racial Harmony: We educate the public, especially parents, on racial diversity and equality, working to eliminate discrimination while fostering mutual understanding and respect across diverse racial and cultural backgrounds. Through training and intervention support, we empower parents with tools to navigate the challenges of parenting in a multicultural society. SNOOP is a registered charity based in Eccleshill in Bradford, West Yorkshire and working across the whole of the Bradford Metropolitan District, including Bradford, Keighley, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. We have been pleased to support families of children and adults with SEND/autism and disabilities for the last 24 years. We operate from a purpose built centre, with fantastic facilities and is fully accessible. SNOOP provides the following services and support for children with SEND, adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and their parent/carers: After School Clubs Children’s holiday play schemes 3-16 years Adults day services and activities – 16-45 years Adults Social Group Preparation for Adulthood sessions and support planning for parent carers Youth Club SEND nursery providing early education funded places for 2,3 and 4 year olds Founded by the 2 Carols, we have an established reputation for quality and high standard of care and support and are sought externally for respresentation of the voice of young people and parent/carers of people with SEND and learning disabiilties and consultants in learning disabilility. We are very pleased to be part of the WYCANN network to share information and knowledge to enable and empower parent/carers as much as is possible.
