Stay n’ Play Weekly Stay n’ Play for under 5’s for children with additional needs and disabilities. We aim to provide a place where parents/carers can go with their children where they can relax in a safe environment and meet other families in similar circumstances. Family Fun Days A weekend Family Fun Day out and about on a monthly basis for all the family (and our special children that have started school!) that cannot make the weekly session and because we recognise that the whole family is involved. Our goal is also to show that there are no limits to having fun! Sport Sessions Sport sessions including Hydrotherapy with trained physiotherapists at a reduced cost so that it is accessible to all families. Hire an All Terrain Buggy To hire out all terrain buggies to families to enable children in wheelchairs to access the beach and other tricky areas. Hire a Travel Bed To hire out accessible and secure travel beds to families to enable children who need a safer bed to visit family or to go on holiday. Counselling Counselling support for parents and carers who might need a listening ear, support and a safe place, or just let of steam about anything which troubles you. […]

The Cinderella Club has one basic aim. “To improve life for the underprivileged children of Bradford.” We try to achieve that by enabling them to :- Participate in activities alongside their school friends. Obtain some of the desirables in life that others take for granted. Obtain some of the necessities for life within their own area of need. We cannot wave magic wands to make this happen but we can do it in other ways:- Provide funding that they cannot acquire for themselves. Provide contacts who can help their situation Influence others to get involved.

Leeds Mencap is an independent charity providing specialist, practical, emotional and social support to over 600 children and young people with learning disabilities and their families across the city, each year. Our services include: Youth Club for 9-13 year olds and 14-18 year olds: Youth Clubs run on alternate Tuesdays for each age group. They offer children and young people with a learning disability a chance to meet new friends, to get involved in a variety of activities, and to have fun in an environment that is both welcoming and safe. Sibling Support Group: The Siblings Group (Sibs) provides a great place for young people who have a brother or sister with a learning disability to come together and have fun. As well as giving young people the chance to access information, these groups allow them to socialise and meet new friends, and to share their experience of having a brother and sister with a learning disability within a welcoming and supportive environment. Friday Club for 18-25 year olds: Friday Club is an evening social group for adults aged 18-25 with learning disabilities. Deaf EXperience Limited (DEX) is a charity which campaigns nationally to improve access to education, wellbeing and quality of life for deaf and hard of hearing young people. We support deaf young people across Yorkshire to meet other young deaf people and to share their experiences. We welcome young people with any level of deafness and all communication methods. We deliver a variety of events where deaf young people can have fun, learn something new and meet others! We have two different groups. The DEX Deaf Youth Hub (DDYH) is for 11 to 17 year old’s and the DEX Deaf Youth Council (DDYC) is for 17 to 30 year old’s. Interpreters are at all events to help everyone to chat and make friends! Do you work with deaf young people aged between 11 and 30? Are you based in Yorkshire? We can come to your school, college or organization to deliver a FREE outreach session to explain what we offer for deaf young people! We also offer Deaf Awareness training for organizations, companies, care homes and other youth facilities
