Drawing competition for children with learning or physical disabilities.

The team from Irwin Mitchell are running a brand new drawing competition for children with learning or physical disabilities.

The competition will be split into 3 age categories:
– under 5,
– 5 – 10
– 11 – 16.

The aim of the competition is to ask our young artists to describe their perfect day through their drawing. That could be a drawing of the people that make a day perfect like mum and dad, their favourite pet or anything around the way they would spend this day like playing a game or going to the zoo.

The competition opened on the 25th August and will run until the 27th September. The winner from each category will be chosen at the start of October and will win a £50 online voucher to get something related to their perfect day.

To take part we ask parents to post a photo of the artwork to our Facebook group here https://www.facebook.com/groups/ParentCarerForum/ by the 27th September with the first name of their child, their age a bit about their perfect day and why this is important to the family.

The competition is open to children of any ability that identify as having additional needs or learning difficulties without needing to have had a formal diagnosis to take part.

Please note, the artwork supplied may be used in PR/social media during and after the competition. If you would rather a piece is not included, but would like to enter the competition, please mention this when uploading it to the group.
