In Person Course: Low Demand Strategies

You may have heard about how low-demand strategies work well for neurodivergent and disabled young people but what are demands and how do these strategies work day-to-day? Come along to this workshop to learn the reasons for considering low demand approaches, the categories of demands and we will go through multiple scenarios to practice recognising and reducing demands. Importantly, we will link low demand strategies as one of the key supports to your young person’s emotional well being and ability to accept self care needs. We will also look at additional day-to-day strategies to structure your routines with more regulation and teamwork.

Each in-person course will have a max of 15 attendees and will be in a Workshop format.

The course will run 10am-12pm and there will be lunch provided afterwards as well as time for questions for the in-person course. When booking, please do let me know of any dietary requirements. Bookings close a week before the event to allow planning.

We apologise – but these courses are not suitable for children and there is no childcare available.
