Yoga for Sunflowers (Ages 2-8)

Sport

Sunflowers for ages 2-8 on a Saturday morning, every 2 weeks. This week will be a Yoga session with Debs These sessions encourage children to explore their imagination and use their bodies through play and movement. Accessible to all – we use props, craft, music and singing to promote a creative environment full of fun. After the session there will be a chance to chat over a hot drink – feel free to bring along a packed lunch. Tiny Outdoor Explorer Sessions

Family Fun Day

Our Sunflowers and Smilers groups on Saturday 31st May are going to be very special as we’re going to Forest School! These sessions will be held at the TCV Hollybush site in Kirkstall and led by Lisa from Tiny Outdoor Explorers (you can find out more about Tiny Outdoor Explorers here:  https://www.tinyoutdoorexplorers.co.uk/). We’ll be pond dipping, minibeast hunting, mask making and doing other fun activities! The Yorkshire Super 1s Programme.

We are a free cricket session held on a weekly basis. These sessions are delivered by the Yorkshire Cricket Board and funded by the Lord Taverners. We provide weekly opportunities for children aged 12-25 with any form of SEND the chance to participate in weekly physical activity (usually cricket) whilst offering workshop opportunities to build a better future.

ASAS

Aireborough Supported Activities Scheme (ASAS) runs holiday play schemes for children 5-18 years with moderate to severe learning and/or physical disabilities including Easter & Summer play schemes and a Christmas Activity day, these are based at Green Meadows School, Guiseley for children in the following postcodes:- LS5, 16, 18, 19, 20 & 21. We also provide residential short breaks at weekends to outdoor pursuits centres for children Leeds city wide, aged 8 – 18 years and who don’t already receive overnight short breaks/respite care.

We give disabled people and families the opportunity to amplify their voices and a platform to have honest and well facilitated conversations.

The Beamsley Project Charitable Trust.

The Beamsley Project Charitable Trust has over 25 years experience in providing self catering holiday accommodation for groups and families with additional needs. We cater for all needs however complex with our specialised facilities allowing us to welcome schools, community groups and family gatherings. We lovingly converted Beamsley Methodist Church which now offers a base, so our guests can tailor their holiday or short break to suit their individual needs. Our guests are at the heart of everything we do and its our mission to ensure they can enjoy a holiday exploring the Yorkshire Dales without having to worry about whether the accommodation is suitable.
