We bring disabled people and family members/carers together on line to share experiences and learn together. We offer a wide range of workshops and sessions led by people with lived experience including well being and coping with anxiety, Direct Payments, Advocacy, Social Care and Health. We give disabled people and families the opportunity to amplify their voices and a platform to have honest and well facilitated conversations.

Interplay Theatre tours annually to arts venues and SEN schools with sensory theatre work specifically designed for young people with complex needs. With a strong aesthetic and touching narratives, our performances give young people with PMLD the chance to experience high quality theatre in school, like other young people their age. From our theatre building in Armley, we run our community programme, LS12 Creative and we offer open days, performances, projects and sessions for young people with Additional Needs.

Bradford Council through Children’s Services, Education and Learning provides a range of specialist teaching and support services to schools and Private, Voluntary and Independent Early Years settings as part of its offer and statutory duties for children and young people aged 0-25 years with special educational needs and disabilities.The Low Incidence team are a team of specialist teachers and support workers, instructors, habilitation officers, audiologists and technical officers who provide specialist teaching and support and outreach work to children and young people who are / have: Visual impairment Hearing impairment Multi-sensory impairment Physical needs We also manage specialist provision for children who are deaf, vision impaired or multi-sensory impaired in the Local Authority led Resourced Provisions: Grove House Primary School (VI) Swain House Primary School (Deaf) Girlington Primary School (Deaf) Hanson Delta Academy (Deaf and VI)

RSBC are here to support you and your family if you have a blind or partially sighted child aged 0-25. We offer a range of services including face-to-face emotional support and practical advice for families living in Yorkshire and the Humber, and opportunities for children and young people to build confidence and skills through activities. At RSBC, we want every blind child and their family to have the skills and confidence to live their life without limits. All our services are free to join. From the moment you receive a diagnosis that your child has sight loss, if there is a change in vision, if your child or family are going through some changes that are difficult to manage or any other time when life just seems a bit tough, get in touch and let one of our Family Practitioners be there to support you. We can support the whole family through our Families First service.
