SNAPS is a Yorkshire based charity that offers physiotherapy to children with additional needs and support for the whole family across two sites within Leeds, West Yorkshire. We have been running for over 12 year but during the last 2 years we have expanded our provision and now deliver physiotherapy to 33 children each Saturday in term time. We are looking to expand our team of physiotherapists (on a self-employed contract basis) to be part of a rota to deliver these sessions. You would work with the lead physiotherapist to input your availability into the weekly rota. You would be expected to work 1-2 Saturdays per month, a session would be 2.5 hours with a rate of pay of £45 per hour. You would be responsible for obtaining your own DBS certificate and ongoing renewal every 3 years.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of paediatric physiotherapy within neuro disability and be registered with the HCPC, have excellent communications skills and be familiar with electronic notes systems. You will be providing hydrotherapy and rebound physiotherapy to children aged from birth to around 19 years of age who have a variety of physical and/or learning disabilities. Children are allocated a weekly session for a term but may continue to access the provision for future terms depending on their position on the priority list. Physiotherapy is delivered by a small team of physiotherapists so that the children get to know who they will be working with.
