We provide free, confidential, non-judgemental, non-directive, empathic and respectful support.We have services for adults and young people in Leeds, and West Yorkshire. Stay n’ Play Weekly Stay n’ Play for under 5’s for children with additional needs and disabilities. We aim to provide a place where parents/carers can go with their children where they can relax in a safe environment and meet other families in similar circumstances. Family Fun Days A weekend Family Fun Day out and about on a monthly basis for all the family (and our special children that have started school!) that cannot make the weekly session and because we recognise that the whole family is involved. Our goal is also to show that there are no limits to having fun! Sport Sessions Sport sessions including Hydrotherapy with trained physiotherapists at a reduced cost so that it is accessible to all families. Hire an All Terrain Buggy To hire out all terrain buggies to families to enable children in wheelchairs to access the beach and other tricky areas. Hire a Travel Bed To hire out accessible and secure travel beds to families to enable children who need a safer bed to visit family or to go on holiday. The Yusra Jinaan Foundation was established in 2022, in memory of our co-founders’ daughter, who was born with a rare genetic condition called Joubert’s Syndrome and passed away in March 2022. The Foundation is a testament to her memory, aiming to benefit children like Yusra, their carers, and their communities. ‘Yusra’ means ‘ease’ in Arabic, and the Foundation’s primary mission is to bring ease to the lives of children with disabilities and their families; particularly those with profound and complex learning disabilities (PMLD). While open to all families, we take particular care to include the perspectives and needs of those often underrepresented in mainstream services.

Changing Faces is the UK’s leading charity for everyone with a mark, scar or condition on their face or body that makes them look different. We offer free emotional, social and counselling support for people who have a visible difference which affects their mental or emotional wellbeing. This include a support and information line, one-to-one social and emotional support sessions, an online community forum, peer support group sessions (18yrs +), and online workshops for children, young people and parents, and a skin camouflage service. Our skin camouflage service is available at locations across England & Scotland. Our free wellbeing services are all delivered via telephone, video session or online, meaning they can be accessed across the UK, wherever you live. On our website you will also find self-help guides and resources for schools.
