Made with Music for ages 2-8 from 11:45 – 12:45 at Stainbeck Community Hall Made with Music is a charity in Leeds who provide accessible and educational live music experiences for families and young people. Every 2 weeks they offer sessions to Sunshine & Smiles families of various ages and use signing and singing to encourage learning and fun. This session is for children aged 2-8 and Made with Music encourage everyone to join in to allow each individual to enjoy the personal and social benefits singing brings to a group. SNAPS.

SNAPS started in Leeds in March 2004 by a group of parents who had identified an unmet demand for hydrotherapy, swimming and physical activity experiences for children with additional needs. From that modest beginning, we have continued to grow. We now deliver a consistent support service to around 100 families each week, and continue to involve parents at all levels. SNAPS supports children with additional needs and their families through physiotherapy, leisure services and a supportive environment. These experiences can be life changing, helping the whole family relax and enjoy time together.     SNAPS offers a range of services, including: Hydrotherapy Swimming Rebound therapy Football Stay and play Other therapies including dance and yoga Holiday activities Family support Parent and carer groups Parent and carer wellbeing sessions   SNAPS is an inclusive organisation, involving the whole family, including siblings with no additional needs. The charity is currently based at Penny Field School in North Leeds and Broomfield School in South Leeds, but provides support for children and their families from across the West Yorkshire region. Down Syndrome Training and Support Services.

The Down Syndrome Training & Support Service is a registered charity run by and for parents and carers of children who have Down syndrome. We offer support and a wide range of training for all parents and professionals working and caring for children with Down syndrome. We currently support over 390 families and 200 organisations across health, education and social care, writing a monthly newsletter to keep everyone up to date with our services and other relevant issues in the world of Down syndrome and learning disability. We deliver specific training, early intervention and speech and language group sessions, employing one full time and 11 part time staff, one of whom happens to have Down syndrome. In addition over 20 volunteers help us to deliver our services, supporting families and assisting with fundraising. We are very proud of our journey and the progress we have made over the years to improve the education, development and inclusion of children and young people who have Down syndrome

SNOOP (Special Needs Objective Outreach Project).

SNOOP is a registered charity based in Eccleshill in Bradford, West Yorkshire and working across the whole of the Bradford Metropolitan District, including Bradford, Keighley, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. We have been pleased to support families of children and adults with SEND/autism and disabilities for the last 24 years. We operate from a purpose built centre, with fantastic facilities and is fully accessible. SNOOP provides the following services and support for children with SEND, adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and their parent/carers: After School Clubs Children’s holiday play schemes 3-16 years Adults day services and activities – 16-45 years Adults Social Group Preparation for Adulthood sessions and support planning for parent carers Youth Club SEND nursery providing early education funded places for 2,3 and 4 year olds Founded by the 2 Carols, we have an established reputation for quality and high standard of care and support and are sought externally for respresentation of the voice of young people and parent/carers of people with SEND and learning disabiilties and consultants in learning disabilility. We are very pleased to be part of the WYCANN network to share information and knowledge to enable and empower parent/carers as much as is possible.
